• Chianciano Terme (via della Pace), every Wed

• Montepulciano, every Thursday

• Pienza, every Friday

• Castiglione d'Orcia, every Saturday

GROCERY STORES

In every town around there is at least basic grocery store. Depending on where you are driving from, we suggest you stop by before coming to our agriturismo. All of them also have local wines, cheeses and cold cuts. Opening hours differ, but in general are open 9 am till 7:30 pm on weekdays with break during lunchtime. Saturday and Sunday are typically open only in the morning.

Arriving from highway A1, exit Chiusi, there is a hypermarket PAM right after the exit tolls, open everyday 9 am till 8:30 pm, including weekends

If driving from Siena, best to stop in San Quirico d’Orcia where there is a decent Coop supermarket right off the town historic center, well-marked from the main road.

Pienza has a smaller Coop store with all the basics, but no fresh seafood and limited bread selection.

We do our weekly shopping in Conad, Montepulciano’s supermarket, which has wide fresh food section, incl. fresh seafood and is open 7 days a week.
